Sponsor Spotlight

We are 18 days away from our annual Art on the Green event!

During the preparations of this event, we have had the help of many of our sponsors. VFC is extremely grateful for its Legacy Sponsor, KBTX. KBTX is a television station in Bryan, Texas, that serves the Brazos Valley. This past week we had the privilege of speaking to Rusty Surette, a reporter at KBTX.

“It’s absolutely critical that our most vulnerable citizens have someone who can be by their side and help them as they navigate the legal system,” said Rusty. “KBTX has reported on the record number of children coming into foster care and it’s our responsibility to make sure our viewers are aware of the services provided by CASA volunteers. They’re the men and women working around the clock to make sure the child’s best interest is recognized in court. Paired with the staff at Voices For Children, they’re keeping children safe and giving them the chance in life they deserve. That’s why we’re proud to support Voices For Children and this year’s Art on the Green”, said Rusty.

Art on the Green is on Saturday, March 2 at the Ice House on Main. The dinner and auction will begin at 6 p.m. Rusty Surette and KBTX friends will be hosting the evening. Join us for an evening of dinner, drinks, dancing and more! We would once again thank our Legacy Sponsor for supporting Voices for Children and its cause.
