A.J. began her career at Voices for Children in 2009 as a Volunteer Coordinator. She then transitioned to CASA of Travis County where she developed and implemented programs to improve child advocacy and was ultimately promoted to a leadership position. A.J. returned to Voices for Children in March 2017 as Executive Director. She draws inspiration from a good challenge and views every challenge as an opportunity to make things better. A.J. obtained her Bachelor’s in Sociology from Texas A&M and her Master’s in Journalism from the University of North Texas.
