Advocate Supervisor (limestone/freestone)

Voices for Children, Inc., a 20 year-old nonprofit, seeks a full-time Advocate Supervisor for Freestone and Limestone counties. An Advocate Supervisor coaches and supports CASA volunteers to advocate for the best interest of children who have been abused and neglected, and are currently living in Conservatorship of the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS). Additionally, the Advocate Supervisor carries out the mission, vision and values of Voices for Children, Inc. | CASA Program.

Requirements: A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related field or at least three years of experience with a CASA program, or in a similar position with Child Protective Services. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to thrive in a high-stress, deadline oriented environment, and can accomplish goals and expectations while working independently and as part of a team is required. Must have reliable transportation.

Advocate Recruitment and Community Outreach Manager

Voices for Children, Inc., a 20 year-old nonprofit, seeks a full-time Advocate Recruitment and Community Outreach Manager. The Advocate Recruitment and Community Outreach Manager for Voices for Children (VFC) is responsible for community engagement and volunteer recruitment and will work closely with other team members of VFC/CASA to ensure that event and recruitment messaging fits within the organizational communications plan and that there is a consistent organizational message given throughout the community on all media platforms. The Advocate Recruitment and Community Outreach Manager is responsible to meet the objectives and goals of all activities established by the VFC/CASA Executive Team and the Board of Directors.

Requirements: Degree in communications, business administration or human services. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Ability to thrive in a high-stress, deadline oriented environment, and can accomplish goals and expectations while working independently and as part of a team is required. Must have reliable transportation.
